Who uses The Squisher?

The Squisher® was developed as a floor-based therapy tool to address the sensory needs of school-aged children (PreK - High School) impacted by:

  • ADHD/ADD

  • Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD)

  • And other neurodevelopmental disorders

How is the Squisher® used?

The Squisher® is a no-tech, high-touch solution that can be used by students in a variety of ways and settings to sooth and support their unique sensory needs including:

For the feet - Students can remove their shoes and rub their stocking feet into the Squisher’s® sensory oriented stuffed cushion or along the tray’s contoured edges and base while it’s conveniently and unobtrusively positioned beneath their desk/table. 

For the bottom - Students can sit on the Squisher® with or without the tray on the floor during whole class circle time, or they can simply place the cushion on their chair or wherever else they may be seated throughout the day.

For the hands & arms - Students can push down and into the cushion with their arms and hands to massage their palms, calm fidgety fingers, and address a multitude of upper body sensory needs.

Regardless of what a student’s unique sensory needs might be, the Squisher® will allow the individual to relax more, focus better on the learning and/or social interactions taking place, and ultimately achieve higher academic and social performance levels.

Patented Tray & Cushion Design

The Squisher® consists of an external plastic tray and internal custom cushion with sensory oriented fill that fit together or can be used separately creating a variety of sensory-addressing options.

Made entirely in the U.S.A., the Squisher® is comprised of a tray with a removable cushion. The cushion consists of thin, stretchy Lycra fabric filled with a special blend of various sized and shaped beads. The cushions fits neatly into the trays, which are stackable and have handles along two sides making them portable. Three non-skid rubber strips on the tray bottom keep it sturdily in place on tile, linoleum or carpeted classroom floors.

Unobtrusive

Intended for use primarily on the floor and under the school desk, the Squisher® is designed to be relatively inconspicuous allowing the student and their peers to remain focused on instruction.

The Squisher’s® compact size [~13”L x 11”W x 3”H] and light weight [~3.5 lbs.] make it portable for students and easy to transport from class to class or school to home and back.
